Your latest video game purchase

Red Steel 2 - I'm buying it again, yes you read that correctly... I'm buying it again. Why, you may ask... well it's simple really. My old disc disappeared ages ago and it's never shown up and I was never able to finish it so I thought I'd buy it again and finally finish it off.

It's actually a really good game, a bit like Borderlands with the art direction and the sword gameplay is awesome. Definitely worth the money. If you haven't bought it yet, get out there and go find yourself a copy, you won't regret it!

I actually like both Red Steel games. I just beat the second game last year and I ended up buying it for 10 bucks.

Good choice! That is my favorite GTA out of the series. It would be awesome if GTA V was available for the WiiU, if not I'll just have to borrow someones Xbox.

Castlevania:MoF is my new purchase. The game got some really mixed reviews but I would at least give it a 7.5. It definitely has some of the best 3D effects I've seen for the system.

@Rory I got mine for £8 which is a bargain! It'll be nice to finish off this game since it's an absolute blast.

I never played the first Red Steel game, it got some pretty mixed reviews and ended up not buying it because of that, I didn't fancy spending money on a game that might turn out to be total crap... and the fact I was too young to buy the game anyway.

I'll let you know now, I'll be pre-ordering a copy of Pandora's Tower this coming Wednesday. Which means I won't be able to download Luigi's Mansion 2 until the 26th.

Nano Assault EX (3DS eShop)

I just ran into a little bit of money, and I've been wanting this game since following the retail release. So when it was announced that this is a visually enhanced version w/additional content for only half the price, I was like, "Hell yeah!"

Shin'en must really know how to get some really awesome visuals out of very little space, because Nano Assault EX only requires a little under 1,000 blocks of memory.

Nano Assault Neo looks better. But has less content...

I bought Splash or Crash, or Kersplosh! for you Americans, today. I've already gone through all 10 levels and unlocked most of the stones... there are high scores you can transfer to other players through StreetPass but to be honest, it's pretty shallow and kinda boring. The only review on NL I've ever really disagreed with...

Maybe I'll get a better feeling of it when I play it some more, but at the moment it's kind of meh. :/

That's why I stay away from games like this. The price makes this a very tempting purchase, but it just seems that you'd play it for 15 minutes and then never go back to it again.

Yeah but what makes it worse is it's published by Nintendo! I thought it would be a quality game...

I might be downloading something later but it all depends on what comes out today. Hopefully its a better turnout than what the Europeans got.

I had a spare £6 on my balance from my "free" eShop card... so I bought Chasing Aurora. Dam this game is terrible!

I'll just try the demo out. I doubt that I will download this, but I'm just curious to how and plays and looks.

Thanks Rory. I'm just trying to complete my classic gaming collection. Now I just need to download Castlevania: Rebirth, Contra: Rebirth and Mega Man 9 & 10. There's a few NES games I still want, though. Like: Faxandu, Life Force and Super C. The Mario and Zelda games are a must, but I'm saving those for last. I know that both of those franchises will be available for download, as long as the WiiShop is in service.

ATV Wild Ride (3DS eShop)

It's a pretty fun game, but I don't really care for the music. That's why I muted it in the options. I could use a few friends to race with online, though.

Sorry Sunny, but I gotta save my money for Monster Hunter and Luigis Mansion.

Monster Hunter Ultimate 3DS and Monster Hunter Ultimate WiiU. I ended up only spending just over thirty dollars since I had a gift card and I also traded in Tales of the Abyss.

I completed the first two missions and located one gemstone, but I haven't unlocked Scarescraper yet. Maybe I'll unlock the online multiplayer tomorrow. In my honest opinion, this is best game currently available for the 3DS!

Same here... well, not downloaded, but I have bought the retail version which'll be here on Wednesday!

EDIT: Just remembered! I bought Harvest Moon on the 3DS eShop a couple days ago, haven't really been able to get into it since I've been a bit busy lately, but it's certainly nice to be playing Harvest Moon again. It's quite a nice little farming sim.
