Latest Announcements Box

This place is coming together quite nicely now. The idea of the announcements box is to simply broadcast any site announcements, or maybe even your own announcements. I'll see if I can create something so you can post something in it and send it off, that way I can get rid of the clunky Shoutbox as that doesn't work on the 3DS or Wii. :3

Thanks a lot Demonic! I hope everything works out the way you want it to. I think the Announcement Box is an awesome idea. Maybe then I could finally acquire P.K. a.k.a. Lun's attention, so he can register my 3DS FC! I kid, I kid. lol

I've put it in now, so I'm hoping it should work on the Wii, it works on the 3DS though, so that's alright.

Edit: It works on the Wii! Woot! I have noticed though, it takes a while for it to load, I wonder if I can change that... :3

This should come in handy for me. Most times I can check out the site but I usually don't have enough time to post something.

I just tried out the Announcement Box on the Wii browser, and it's working perfectly fine for me.

By the way, if you click the + you can find smiley's. But more importantly, you can register your name so Lun can't use it to impersonate you, it also enables me to promote you as a Moderator/Admin for it. :3

This thing is becoming a problem for me. It's starting to cover up the post, and now I can't see what the new post are for the day.

Strange... how do you mean it's covering up the post? Is it not showing new messages, or is it covering the Latest Topics widget? Because I have no problems with it. Are you using your phone to use it by any chance?

I'll try to fix it though.

I've taken it down for now since I can't fix the problem until Rory and I can both talk to each other at the same time to see if I've resolved the issue or not.

One idea that might work is a toggle, so that you can hide or show it at will. I'm not sure how long that'll take me, but I'll see if it works.
