Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

I would prestige at least a few times. I think I'm a 5th level prestige now, but I plan on taking a break from prestiging so I can level up some of my weapons and perks.

For my first 2 tokens I used them for unlocking weapons that you can keep everytime you prestige. It's pretty nice to have some OP weapons for starting over, but I also think that you would be fine without doing this, since most of the weapons you start out with are really good and can compete with most powered weapons.

My other 3 tokens I used to unlock Extra Custom Classes. I wish I would have done this with the other 2 tokens, because it's always nice to have that extra custom class that you didnt think would ever come in handy.

I guess it all depends on what you plan to do in this game. If you plan to reach Prestige Level 10, use your token for the 2 hours of double xp. But I prefer to have any and all weapons that I need to counter someones playstyle or choice of weapon, and I think extra custom classes will fit the bill.

@Sundown, I have been using scavenger pro, however whenever i do it requires me to use the specialist package, because I can't get a good streak going w/o SoH. Plus I often find it useful to have a bigger clip, since i usually end up running out of ammo, and die switching to my pistols.

@Lun, if you're not using semtex, start doing it my friend. It is much easier to use then the standard frag grenade, as there is a much less chance you can kill yourself with it, as it will not roll down or towards you.

@Jack, I used my token on a gun, which I will be doing again the next time i prestige, but after that it will be the extra custom class.

@Rory, I see no use in the 2 hours of 2x experience, as it takes almost a day of playing time to prestige as it is, depending on your skill level.

@Sundown again, I should be there for the event, given that my brother isn't home and/or hogging the wii. I was thinking of putting my name as Julius Caesar for this event.

Like you said, it doesnt take that long to level up, so that's why I find it useless to use the token on a gun. Most of the guns that you get at level 1, they can pretty much take on the best guns in the game. That's why think it's better to have extra custom classes so that you can always have that one class handy for those certain situations. That's my two cents

@Rory, yeah those extra classes could come in handy, I always seem to find myself wanting to take down an enemy aerial killstreak, however I have no class set up for it, and I get mad every time it kills me :P

The only guns I unlocked are the FAD, and the soon to be MP7, only because they require level 74+, they're good guns, and it takes such a high level to use them. Otherwise yeah I think the extra classes are the best option, although I haven't tried the title and emblem packages :P

@all, Sorry I left early on that last one game. I had to go for a walk outside and calm myself down. What happened was I had just switched my loadout tried using the ak47, ended up getting the screw job. Way worse than normally. Jesus Christ I emptied whole magazines in guys backs and it didn't kill them. If consecutive headshots with my guns have no effect then what the hell is the point anymore. COME ON! Come to think of it, it's very likely that whenever I was shooting guys they probably only noticed the gun noise/red dot on their HUD radar, no red, no injury. Just so they could turn around and shoot me in the god damned face. Oh Christ, I don't know if I can take this thing anymore. And another thing WHATS WITH THIS LAG! WHAT IS THIS! I'm being shot and killed before I even see anybody. I'll be dead AND THEN, FINALLY, OUT OF NOWHERE, It'll show some full fledged, happy, unmitigated bastard rounding the corner in his full speed guns. And don't worry, it's not just the one guy, usually one or two more can also drink of the cup, and share in the glory of all that makes them invincible.

lag happens, in fact very commonly. The first thing I look at when I lag in the scoreboard. Check your connection. If it only has one bar, you're likely going to suck in that game if you stay, as it takes longer to register your bullets. I usually leave, and that is the one reason that my wins and losses are somewhat close, because every time you leave, it's a loss.

Don't hate the Game, hate the player. And then kill him again, and again, and again.

I should be online a little later tonight. If anyone wants to join, just send out an invite. If I don't score well, I haven't given up it's just that I'm not going to get upset over this thing. ;)

I probably wont be on tonight, but you should try the mode where no parties are allowed. That way you don't have to worry about hackers or those shady clans. I forgot the name of the mode, but it's what I usually play when no one else is on.

Still not enough money to buy it... maybe next week... :(

Well....Just got this game. Sundown was asking me about it, so it was on my mind. Bought it just like I did GE when I suddenly decided I wanted it "now!" :P Headbanger too btw.

You can change your name at any time. And just the other day, I happend to run into someone that had the tag NOSOUP4U.

Ran into some familiars aswell. Beavis I remembered from GE, and some WD guy showed up in the end I forget who. Is it just me or does anyone else see lots of profile names in MW3 with 007 or Bond in their names?
