G4L MK7 Matches

So, MK7's been out since early December, but we've had no clan matches yet?!
We should definately start some races, since many of us do have the game. Hopefully P.K getting it will inspire players to come back to the game. I've only played with a maximum of 4 of us at once, but I definately think 8 players will be good fun.
Let's sort something out.

I will play more when the patch is out... but for now I just hate it. I wouldn't mind some G4L matches at some point, it'll be really fun getting the whole crew to play together again... like old times.

I'll be free most Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons as well as some Friday's. For Demonic and Jack obviously, it would be evenings (since they are UK.)

As fun as the online can be with randoms, I think it might be better if we could get some people together for races/battles!

I'll join up whenever I can get some free time to do so. And I would prefer to play with items, its just not a Mario Kart game if you're not getting hit with something random.

I think Jack got annoyed last night... but it was fun for me. Especially hitting Jack with a green shell in mid-air while he was getting to the finish line lol.

That was the best finish I've ever had...

However that match on Kalamari Desert with the blue shell was BS. PK was in front for the whole race, I get a blue shell and he was right next to me more or less... what?!

Yeah, I was kind of upset at that, but oh well life goes on. Which race did you plaster Jack w/green shell @ the end?

Also, gg a few min. ago! I got a little Kalamari redemption but got screwed on big foot going for that one jump off to the right where you have to go through that muck beforehand. Fell off the cliff twice which was mainly my fault D:

Yeah I was getting plastered on that race... green shell, red shell, star, banana... urgh, go away! But then I pwned everyone after that lol.

I was playing some MK7 online last night and after a few games who to my wandering eyes appeared...Tech (playing as Bowser no less.) On at least 3 different races I passed him up last second to take the checkered flag inches ahead of him, so he might not be too happy with me. It's his own damn fault for being Bowser!! :tard:

I might be playing for a lot of the rest of today as well as tomorrow. So if anyone want's to party up.

Have you completed every circuit yet? I have 3 stars on every course except for two. I'll have to get back to it and try for them again. I'm not quite sure how you get a perfect run, but I swear I did everything right and I still didn't get it.

Is it just a general unwritten rule that whoever gets the raccoon suit in MK7 has to be the most pompous, ridiculous, unabated, tail waiving (nobody within 50 feet of them) loon on the course?...at least until they lose it, of course.

To answer your question simply... yes.

All they do is shake it around like crazy even though no one is near them... it's a stupid move anyway since it leaves you open to get hit by a shell, if you time right of course...

I'll be playing some Mario Kart 7 tomorrow if anyone wants to join me, I'm trying to unlock all the gold parts. :3 Be nice to party up with some of you soon, we haven't played this game together since it was released more-or-less. Come on guys, let's band together as a clan and show those MK7 noobs who's boss. ;)

@Demon, I'd be down for some MK7 tomorrow. Probably be on for a little while sometime around 4:30, your time. I think you're like 4 hours ahead of me which would be 1:30 Us Central my time, which is when I get off of work, so it might actually be 20-30 min. later than that.

I'll be down to playing some Kart this weekend. Jenny is going on a girls camping trip, so I'm gonna go on a gaming binge this weekend. ;)

This weekend would be good for some karting fun. Maybe we can get 8 of us to play, be better with 8 than 3. :P

Here's one: Was playing MK7 earlier, first few races I was winning and getting 2nd and 3rd fairly often. Then, I just whip the piss out of the competition on snes Rainbow Road, drafting, blasting mushrooms and hitting just about every auxiliary boost (from the cinder thwomps). Must have gotten first place by like a mile.

The next 7-8 races after that I'm owning the track just the same, but it was just...the little differences...at that point it was just...a little different. Example: Everyone behind me is on the money with every shell and fire ball, raving bullet boosts starting up 2 feet behind me, everything. One of the races, on DS airship fortress, I was in 2nd going into the final part of that massive roundabout at the end. I heard/took note of a first place shell coming via the warning siren, as any non-dumbshit MK7 boy would have, I swerved way off to the left side of the trail because I know these things tend to follow the center of the track for the most part. Somehow the shell still smoked me, not to mention a flurry of green shells followed by the guy in 3rd, followed by a rampaging star in the backside by the imbecile in last. :blowup:

Maybe the awnser is: that's just what happens on Mario Kart every now and then...but this time it seemed a bit extreme, almost personal. Not to mention, during more than one occasion I would get a quality item, maybe like the 7 items or the eternal mushroom and then *Boom*, out of nowhere a bob-omb lands straight on my head.
