Nintendo Download Stores Offline This Tuesday

The 3DS eShop, Wii Shop and DSi Shop will all be closed for maintenance on Tuesday from 10:00 PT until around 17:00 PT.

There's no word as to what might come about through this maintenance, but there could be a possibility of Nintendo incorporating the Nintendo ID into the system's online mainframe, laying down the digital framework for the release of the Wii U, or it could simply be "behind the scenes" work.

I'm not keeping my hopes up at all. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens on Tuesday, that way it wont be a dissapointment for me.

It would be good if they did something interesting, but to be honest, I really don't see anything exciting happening tomorrow. It's probably background fixes and stuff, but what I would really, really like to see is the ability to download GBA games.
