Wii U Pro Controller meets SNES Pad

What do you get when you get a Wii U Pro Controller and a SNES Pad to make love? Well it seems you get this... apparently.



It's currently being sold in Australia at EB Games for $48 (Australian dollars by the way) while the official Wii U Pro Controller is estimated at around $78 so it seems this probably isn't an official Nintendo product.

Will this fusion of present and past make it on to your wish list, or are you going to give it a weird look and walk on by?

I kinda like it. I like how it has the outline of the original SNES controller. And even if is didn't have that retro look, I still think that controller looks pretty good. But I would prefer to see the actual thing, instead of just a pic, before I can make a judgement on it.

To be brutally honest, I think it looks kinda ugly... but I'm sure it'll be good for those with fond memories of the SNES and want to incorporate it back into the living room once again... but I prefer the original Wii U Pro Controller... it looks sleek and sexy.

Its all about the memories for me. But yeah, I think I'll be fine without a Controller Pro, since we will have the Gamepad and Wiimote options for gaming.

I think it'll be nicer for some games, like Monster Hunter for example, I don't think a big controller, like the GamePad will be well suited for me so I think the Pro Controller will fit the needs of my hands when hunting a Rathalos or a Rathian.
