Kid Icarus: Uprising Weapon Fusion

So I've been having some fun fusing weapons and trying to get some better weapons in the process... however there is a way to get the desired weapon of your choice!

If you look at the image below if you follow the table, for example Blade to Staff you can create claws.



However there's something even more amazing than this, you can even judge what weapon you're going to make. If you look at the image below, each weapon has an assigned number.




It's the order the cards are numbered and the order of idols in-game. So we can see that the Angel Bow is number 7, so 2 + 5 = 7, we could use blade 2 and arm 5 to make it, which is a Burst Blade and Drill Arm. Or as another example, Royal Blade + Artillery Claws = Ore Club. 5 + 8 = 13, 13 - 12 = 1.

If the number goes over 12, to say 13, you have to minus it by 12 at which point you get your desired weapon. In this case with the Royal Blade and Artillery Claws, you get the Ore Club which is ranked 1.

I'll definitely look more into this when I start playing this again. I've been just mixing things up randomly, hoping that I get something good. I would like a powerful sword to use, and right now the most powerful one I have is rated about 301.

Starting to get a hang of this fusion business... can easily spend a good couple of hours just selecting different weapons and trying to find a good fusion combo. Even when your not actually playing the game it's still highly addictive.

I agree with that. I've spent more time fusing weapons than I have playing online games. I haven't had the chance to try out that chart on fusing, but once I get back into it, I'm gonna make the perfect weapon.

I'm really liking this fusion business. However I seem to be getting more and more staffs...

I've also found quite a few weapons that I still need to unlock. So far I've got a staff with

Poison +1
Speed +2
Recovery Effect +2
In-peril autododge +3
Heart Bonus +2

Once I've found a weapon to combine it with that keeps most of those attributes, mainly the In-peril autododge then I should be ready to rumble, until then just lots more fusing. :/
